Working with an eCommerce & SaaS focused agency, you will work on both internal and client facing projects. As a result you’ll need experience with backend architecture and infrastructure from planning, designing, developing, testing and deployment.

A day in the life…

‍

• Develop and maintain resilient, high-performing backend services for our suite of web, and AI-based applications.
• Engage in architectural discussions, actively contributing to the design and implementation of the core technologies that make up our suite of products.
• Work on internal and external tools built to interface with Shopify, Neto, WordPress and other (predominantly ecommerce) systems.
• Document system processes and protocols to facilitate easy understanding and usage by developers and end-users.
• Utilise GitHub to effectively collaborate and communicate with your development team, project manager, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with our team of developers to continually improve software quality and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to foster growth and excellence.

Experience needed to succeed…

‍

• Proven React and Node JS experience is a must
• Next JS experience preferred
• Preferably experienced in Shopify and other eCommerce systems
• HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JSON.
• Full stack experience is preferred
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices, enabling you to craft clean and scalable code.
• Experience with frontend responsive design
• Experience with relational databases and building JSON-based APIs (REST / GraphQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and serverless architectures.
• Experience with GIT.
• You understand server architecture, microservices, and the APIs that power them.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
• Helpful and customer service orientated with a willing attitude to learn.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
• You have an analytical mind, with a love for problem solving and a knack for optimizing and enhancing systems.
